I have been producing my Fine Hydrocal Casting and Kits for
model railroaders for 24 years. Hydrocal is a dense castable gypsum cement
(similar to Plaster of Paris) in which I have artistically carved, scribed and
cast masonry detail to very precise scale. Inside this site you'll find information
on the resulting castings and kits, and much much more.

I wish I could keep everything in production! But unfortunately I cannot.
Currently I have some 40 On3 Durango and Gunnison roundhouse kits on order, each
taking a week or two to produce, but they are in constant production!
The roundhouse orders are my top priority.
During this time I will be unable to fill MOST other casting orders.
Time has caught up with many of my old production molds and I must replace them before resuming their production.

The Durango roundhouse (and Gunnison) in O-scale. Brick detail
inside and out. Laser-cut engine doors, windows, roof panels with rafter locating
marks, and so on. Barely fits on a 4 x 4 foot space if you do all the stalls. A
masterpiece that will be the highlight of your model building experience. Check it out:

My apologizes that this has taken so long but we are finally
beginning production. With over 60 of them reserved I'm hoping to produce about
one per week (as hard as I try they take twice that!). So new orders are a year or two away.
I'm beginning production with the full 10-stall orders for
Durango. Less than orders and Gunnison will follow. If you have reserved a kit you
might want to reconfirm with changing e-mails and such. I've sent announcements out
to the first dozen (full-stall orders). Check on the kit info page to review the
drawings that are now posted.
If you reserved a kit and have not heard from me recently please
contact me as several reservation notices have not been responded to.
ROUNDHOUSE KIT INFORMATION
You guys are going to freak-out when you see Glenn Farley's
Gunnison roundhouse construction article in the Narrow Gauge Gazette. It is truely
an amazing model. Glenn pushed me to produce not just one masterpiece but four,
Gunnison, Durango in original, "classic" and late versions. No wonder it's taken
so long but worth the wait.

Well, it was a few versions ago. Not that Internet Explorer is
the greatest web browser- but this site was carefully built to best be viewed
there. Unfortunately, not all web browsers are built the same and it looks pretty
awkward with Netscape Navigator and Apple's Safari. "Not my fault." Well, that's
what happens when you don't follow the simple rules of HTML. What You See- Isn't
Necessarily What You Get! But we sure tried...
